Teams play a complete Round-Robin of 20-board matches after which two top teams of each group play a 32-board K.O. semi-final match (A winner against B runner-up, B winner against A runner-up). The winning teams play a 32-board K.O. final match for the 1st place and the losers a 24-board K.O. play-off match for 3rd place. The other teams play another two matches to classify for 5th place.
