Despite a losing draw to The Netherlands in the morning, Italy continued to set a blistering pace at the top of the table. Their total of 171 VP gives them a healthy 15 points lead over second placed Iceland. Norway is third, Bulgaria fourth, closely followed by the new look French team.

We are approximately one fifth of the way through the Open series and of the favoured teams Poland, Sweden and Denmark all need to move up the table over the next couple of days.
