Italy shows no signs of letting up their unrelenting pace at the top of the table, although they did allow the pack to get a fraction nearer, second placed Bulgaria being a mere 63 VP behind. Norway dropped to third ahead of Spain and Poland. Now is the time to start speculating on how far you can afford to be behind at this stage and still be in with a chance. We suspect that only the teams occupying the places down to number 13 have a chance.

Germany finally lost their unbeaten record when they were defeated by our Italian hosts in Round 12 of the Women's Championship. However, they are still 18 points clear of England, who have been joined in second place by The Netherlands. Denmark have dropped to fourth, and Italy have given their supporters something to cheer about by moving up to fifth.

In the Seniors France's total of 235 leaves them just one ahead of Israel, with Denmark third on 227
