After an incredible final round the
standings had changed their complexion dramatically when play
ended last night. BCOB Brussels, Modalfa and Chlodnia were
having high hopes of making it, but none of them succeeded.
Chlodnia was beaten all ends up by Parioli and nearly the same
happened to Modalfa. So it was left to Besiktas and the hosts
to fight it out in a direct confrontation. A side effect of
the Parioli outburst was that the Schaltz team could even
afford a narrow defeat at the hands of Gromov. It was a tense
evening, but there certainly will be even more tension today.
Read more about last night’s tension in tomorrow’s Bulletin.
