It was business as usual for the Azzurri
as Norberto Bocchi, Dano De Falco, Giorgio Duboin, Guido
Ferraro, Lorenzo Lauria, Alfredo Versace, Maria Teresa Lavazza
(Captain) & Massimo Ortensi (Coach) secured a fourth
successive European Open Team Championship title for
the reigning Olympiad Champions. Norway took the silver
medals and Poland the bronze. Long time leaders
Russia were fourth, while the exciting battle for fifth
place saw Israel pip Denmark and
France. |
