GRAND PRIX of POLAND 2007 teams BAM Warszawa 26-27 V 2007 RULES and REGULATIONS

1. SCORING
   2 PT for each board won (even with 10 score points), 1 PT for deuce, 0 PT for lost board (even with 10 score points). Consequently the result of 6-boards segment will vary from 6:6 to 12:0.
    
2. ROUND-ROBIN
   12 teams will be divided into two groups by dividing teams: GIERULSKI and KLAPPER. A round-robin of 5 matches of 6 boards will be played in each group. After round-robin the 5^th and 6^th team will be eliminated and the first four teams will promote to quarterfinals.
    
3. QUARTERFINALS
   The winner of each group will choose opponent from places 3-4 of the other group. The second team from each group will play against team from places 3-4 of the other group not chosen by the winner. There will be 3 segments of 6 boards in quarterfinal match. The winners will promote to semifinals.
    
4. SEMIFINALS
   The team scoring highest result in quarterfinal match will choose opponent. Two not chosen teams will play in the second match. There will be 3 segments of 6 boards in semifinal match. The winners will promote to final, while loosers will play for the 3^rd place.
    
5. FINALS
   There will 5 segments of 6 boards in final match and 3 segments of 6 boards in 3^rd place play off.
    
6. TIES
   In case of equal PTs the tie will be broken by (applicable in the given order):
   • result of direct match (round-robin phase only)
   • position on the starting list
