We salute the first European Open Team Champions in three categories, Open Women’s and Senior. In the Open Israel’s Kalish, Avigdor Kalish, Leonid Podgur, Ilan & Ofir Herbst, Doron & Israel Yadlin outpaced France’s Chemla, Paul Chemla, Philippe Cronier, Michel Abécassis & Philippe Soulet.

In the Women’s event the team representing Italy FIGB Mosca, Emanuela Capriata, Cristina Golin, Gabriella Manara, Caterina Ferlazzo, Monica Buratti & Darinka Forti overcame The Netherlands Vriend Net, Femke Hoogweg, Wietske Van Zwol, Carla Arnolds, Bep Vriend, Jet Pasman & Anneke Simons.

The Senior Teams went to the French squad Adad, Pierre Adad, Maurice Aujaleu, Guy Lasserre, Philippe Poizat, François Leenhardt & Gérard Sallière. They defeated the Italian team Fornaciari, Ezio Fornaciari, Antonio Vivaldi, Adriano Abate, Fabrizio Morelli, Franco Baroni & Marco Ricciarelli.
