The defeat came against second-placed Israel, while one of the wins was over third-placed Latvia, so 56 VPs was not a bad return from a very tough day for the Poles. It is tight at the top, with Poland on 118, Israel 114, Latvia and Sweden 111, Italy 107 and Netherlands 104.
